Site in need of some updates.

Sometime soon I'm going to try to update the userlist a little more and see if I can apply some code updates.

Amanda's Surgery

We've been back in Oregon for a week now.  Amanda had her surgery yesterday.  Everything went fine.  She's in a lot of pain still and we had to redo a bandage because it was bleeding.

She has an appetite though which is very good for Amanda :).

Back in Ardmore for a bit

I'm posting from a friend's house right now.  It's nice to see a lot of people.  It's pretty weird to see the kind of businesses that seem to have expanded and moved in since I was away.   Just the kind of businesses that this area does NOT need.

I think there should be some sort of public education announcement to get people to stop giving their money to crooks, and learn how to responsibly budget themselves.

Ardmoreite Forum

For some reason they decided to redesign the Ardmoreite website again, for the worst :)  It does look cleaner.  If you are looking for the link to their forum you can get there by clicking here.  http://forums.ardmoreite.com

It is running very slowly though.

HEY WENCH!

remember me?

Scooter silencing

My scooter is kind of loud an all of my neighbors are pretty quiet so felt bad because I broke my old home made silencer that consisted of some copper tubing a couple of clamps and a riding mower silencer.

Miscarriage / Surgery

When we went to the hospital when we were 12 weeks along we found out that the baby had developed into a blighted ovum. We eventually had it checked by about 4 people and they urged her to get a D&C because of some extra tissue that didn't look normal and would cause problems.  Amanda has had the operation now, but we haven't gotten any information back yet on the tissue samples.

Just wanted to put it out there and let everyone know.  It has been a rough past couple of weeks.

Fried Squash and Stuffed Bell Peppers

The past couple days Amanda and I have been experimenting with some cooking.

We bought a whole lot of groceries and there was a lot of squash out on the shelves so I picked up some. Tonight I fried the squash with just 1 tbsp of vegetable oil.  Used about a tsp of garlic salt. And fried it until blackness appeared on both sides, just like back home.  That was really really good, something you can't find in a restaurant around here.
